Essentially for the about same price you’d pay a fine dining establishment for two, you get to enjoy the best Chef’s gourmet cuisine and a night’s stay at the Best B&B in Louisiana (according to the 2020 Louey Awards).  Spend two nights and get twice the enjoyment.  Almost all one-night stay guests comment that they wished they’d scheduled a longer stay.

Overnight guests savor Chef Laura’s complimentary exquisite breakfasts and evening snacks.  Occasionally, some of our package deals and event affairs will feature an evening full meal experience from Chef Laura. For example, she has package B&B deals for Jazz-On-The-Vine musical/wine experiences where Chef Laura is preparing picnic style dining to go with the wine you purchase from Ponchatrain Vineyards in Bush.  Check out the packages by reading the reserve a room booking text. Chef Laura strives to acquire your dietary requirements before you arrive at the B&B.  Please tell her when you make your reservations.  Her Breakfast repertoire of delicious breakfasts can cater to your special needs in numerous flavorful ways.   The B&B has a high percentage of returning guests and Chef Laura keeps a client Breakfast Log to assure her daily chef choice main courses are seldom repeated unless a guest specifically asks for the same breakfast again.

Shrimp and Kiss-My-Grits where many of our clients say the only Grits they’ll ever eat are Chef Laura’s  - the secret is in the added ingredients

Freshly squeezed juices (Apple, Orange and more)

Homemade Apple Butter comes from the Apple Juice pulp andis canned for resale.

Eggs Benedict with homemade hollandaise on a waffle-with-a-twist is topped farm fresh poached eggs cooked to your favored yolk hardness.  The meat is varied.  Ham and Maryland style crab cakes are the most popular.  This is the dish Chef Laura is holding up in the photo.

Her sausage, bacon and most all meats are select cuts from a local butcher/slaughter house – Cutrer

The Breakfast Experience location is picked by the guest from several areas and the plated cuisine is delivered by Chef Laura and her assistant(s).   Dine from either the high or low tables on the common area, wrap-around covered porch with views of our long fairways flanked by gorgeous live oaks and pines.  Heaters are provided for cooler days.  Many guests choose to dine on their room’s private covered porch with forest and landscaped gardens overlook.   Breakfast has an option to be served at the indoor loft game room dining style high or low tables where your sky view is over the treetops.  Some choose to eat in their rooms indoor sitting area that has glass wall views through their private balcony.  Many prefer to eat at the more expansive main floor common indoor dining area table with glass wall views of the ridgeline, rolling hills and pond.   For those pressed for time in their mornings, Chef Laura has prepped gourmet breakfasts To Go.   Entrée portions are large and the B&B provides storage containers for any leftovers.

Our offered complimentary beverage options include our Miele machines Fresh Ground Coffee, Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, Macchiato which offer guests that morning taste experience that rivals those you'd get at high end coffee shops. We have a large variety of tea's that can be had in cup warming teapots acquired from an English castle (Arundel). Hot Chocolate, loads of Ice, highly filtered and treated well water, bottled water, sweet and unsweet bottled tea and soft drinks are all gratuitous to our overnight guests to enjoy with Chef Laura's fine gourmet cooking. Coffee sweeteners of all types and many flavors are provided.
