Annual awards recognizebest of the Louisiana tourism industry
Alexandria, La. (Feb. 2, 2022) – The Louisiana Travel Association (LTA) introduced Jeff and Laura Atkinson, proprietors of the Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery, as the winner of the 2022 Bed and Breakfast Accommodation of the Year during its Annual Meeting in Alexandria, La. The LTA presented 19 “Louey Awards” to honorand showcase individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the Louisiana tourism industry. Three accommodation awards were presented to honor larger Hotels, smaller Hotels/Inns and Bed & Breakfasts.
“We never imagined we had even a remote chance to be the first multi-year winner of the Louey Award B&B Accommodation of the Year. Tangi Tourism recognized our potential and nominated us based on the B&B’s ever growing promotions and contributions to Communities and Tourism in Louisiana. We are ecstatic that the Louisiana Travel Association selection committee for this statewide competition agreed and again awarded us the Louey in 2022” said the Atkinsons of Bienvenue Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast and Art Gallery. “We look forward to continuing partnering with governing bodies, disaster recovery teams, artisans, performing arts, educational groups and businesses to showcase our great Louisiana cuisine, culture and
